New facilities inaugurated at Academia Sports Village

Academia Sports Village (ASV) on Sunday formally inaugurated new facilities at its premises in Aziz Nagar, Moindabad. Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated the facilities. Activities also commenced across four clay courts and grounds for football and beach volleyball in the presence of Justice P S Narayana, former Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, T Srinivas Reddy, representing the Royal Photographic Society, and Molly Wynn Owen.
Wynn Owen praised the facilities that have been put in place in the two-acre space. He hoped that budding tennis and football players would take advantage of the facilities and grow up in their chosen sport.
A highlight of the programme was the turnout of around 55 students, four teachers and management personnel from Kakatiya School, Moinabad, including its principal J Navaneetha and Director J Hanmanth.
